For over 5 generations our family has produced fruit in the Hood River Valley. We grow many different kinds of fruit, but cherries and pears are our most dominant varieties. (Pictured from left: David Fox, & Bob Fox)

Cherry harvest is still going strong! We've finally finsihed packing Rainiers for the year. Better come get some before they are gone! The news paper came out today to take pictures for an article with the Dept. of Ag. on how the average farmer is getting a little older and wondering if the next generation will be coming home to farm soon.
Saturday is the Chad Williams Concert! I hope everyone has a great time there!
July 25th, 2011:
We've been picking cherries for a little while now. This morning we had a large thunderstorm. The rain can crack cherries making them non-marketable. We've had trouble with this all season so far. However, they do taste great! Peaches should be ready pretty soon. We had a fun concert Saturday night. We hope we see everyone on Aug. 6th!
June 2011
Cherry Season is almost here! We are busy trying to get ready for another round of harvest. The weather has been cold and wet this spring. The November and Feb. freezes took their toll on a few of our blocks. Young trees in the upper valley will probably have to be replanted. Our Plum and Pluot trees also took a huge hit and will probably have to be replaced next year.
We are looking forward to beginning our harvest season. The fruit stand is finally open and we look forward to seeing you soon!
